• our dining tables are fabricated with an extension mechanism to accommodate leaves which are meant to be extended for occasional use only. keeping the table extended with the leaves in at all times is not recommend. the weight of the table top and leaves (coupled with gravity) could cause the table top to sag over time. a retractable, drop down leg is necessary to support the table halves when tables over 96” long are opened.
